Five Favorites (May 7th)

Found out about Five Favorites from one of my favorite mom blogs over at The Camp this evening.  Figured I was on a blogging roll so why not link up there and make it a full week!

So, some favorites:

1. Swedish Fish - I haven't had them in a LONG time, but tonight I made these little bags of goodies for our pre-school teachers at work and just happened to have a few left over!

2. How I Met Your Mother - I think Ted might actually meet her this season, in just a couple of episodes and I'm just a little excited!  I've been waiting for this - and the entire scene they paint gives me hope for meeting my future spouse.  I mean if a guy with professional writers scripting his love story can't find a gal - then us lowly people without writers surely can be given a little extra time!

3. Pope Francis - is it not one of everyone's favorites!  I mean, really - today's tweet was:
Do not be content to live a mediocre Christian life: walk with determination along the path of holiness.
Well played Francis, well played!

4. Running - I don't know what kind of drugs I took to make this one of my crazy favorite things, but it is.  If I'm stressed (welcome to my work world) then a run after work is just what I need.  Today's including this lovely photo:

5. Finally, I just love me some Charles Schultz:

This week has been filled with many moments where I just want to cry - and it's only been two days!

Well, I hope you enjoy my Five Favorites as much as I favorite them!  Check out Grace's fun link up this week for more favorites!

  1. Ug! Why does everyone blog about running? They are actually making me WANT to run. =) Maybe it's a sign? I hope I will get out. If I can pray the Rosary while I jog, I can knock out 2 birds w/ 1 stone.
    PS: Love Pope Francis!
